The Bronte Historical Society is a volunteer run non-profit charitable organization dedicated to preserving Bronte's heritage and celebrating its past.
Volunteers manage the historic Sovereign House as a heritage display centre.Visitors can enjoy a self-guided tour of the restored rooms with artifacts, photographs, archival documents and memorabilia.They also provide direction to researchers.

is located at 7 West River Street in Bronte Village, Oakville, Ontario.

From the QEW Hwy take the Bronte Road (Hwy 25) exit
Go South to Lakeshore Road and turn West
West River Street is the first street after you cross the bridge, go South about 1/4 km
There is a large parking lot with a walking path to Sovereign House
